do drop down menu links work for Googlebot

I'm intrested if the googlebot can spot links from drop down menues?

just intrested as I have links from a PR8 and a PR7 site but my site is still only PR4 would have expected a higher rank!? These links are both in a drop down menu form.

any thoughts?
