I'm sure there are posts on this, but I was able to find them. What is acceptable in regards to keywords in alt tags and comments?

Hello stuntdubl. Alt tags are to be used to describe the image that it is associated with. I'll assume that the image is specific to the theme of the site and therefore would require an alt tag with a keyword or phrase. No stuffing, be direct and describe the image.

Comments tags are just that. My understanding is that they do not have any weight in an SEO scheme of things. They are very useful when working with html content and they help various authors to navigate the html.

I usually use titles for links and use the same keywords as in the link text, but in different order. Works fine for me. I do believe, that it makes a difference in the rating.

However, dont overstuff it, just describe the link. Same for Images.
