Site title updates

Ever notice that a site's title updates at different times depending on the keywords you are searching on? I have seen this phenomena on two different sites now. Makes me think that there is somehow a separation in keyword sets otherwise if there was only one database for all keyword searches, why the difference? And no, these observations were not occuring during an update.

I think I noticed this a while ago on one of my sites. It was showing the title as in was on the site then for a search where I rank well on a good keyword it was showing the title from the previous update with the current cache and snipped from page text. Thought it was strange.
