The NY Times is going to start using Google for search results on their site and BOSTON.COM.

[biz.yahoo.com...]

From the article:

"When a user conducts a search on NYTimes.com, a page of article results is generated with links to current and archived articles. Google's Web-wide search results will appear below these NYTimes.com links, providing NYTimes.com users with access to the most relevant search results from billions of Web pages. Google's sponsored links will also appear, to help users find related products and services."

I've noticed a few referrals already - the NYT appears to be listing just the top three results, under the heading "Web Search Results" following about twenty of their own pages. AdWords listings are appearing as well.

I hope this doesn't mean the folks at the NYT and the Boston Globe have woken up to SEO... :-)

Where are you seeing ad words listings? I see none.

The results I'm seeing are entirely different than the usual Google results. Can't make sense of it...
