I totally redid my site - deleted some old pages from Google. It looks like Googlebot has crawled my pages, but it seems like the old view of the site that Google cached is all that comes up. It has been several weeks now.
How long does it take for Google to update the cache they hold? Is there anything I can do at my end to speed the process.
Appreciate any tips you folks can provide.

Depending on the Page Rank of your site, and depending on when in the "regular" monthly crawl
cycle your new site was indexed, it can take one or two months for Google to update your listing
and it's cached copy of your page.
Pages with very high Page Rank may get updated much more often.
I'm not aware of anything you can do directly to speed up the process, other than to design good web
pages that attract incoming links from other high-Page-Rank pages. You can, however, tell Googlebot
that you do not want Google to keep a cached version of your page by including "noarchive" in your
meta robots tag. See Google's webmaster info page [google.com] for exact details.
