SSI redirection and google

pitfalls

I have an old site that had doorways optimized for various search engines. It has been a very profitable site, and I did not think much about the doorways until recently when my google PR went from 6 to 2, and I am now trying to clean up the site.

I have placed NoIndex tags on almost all of the doorways, but I have one that has quite a few outside links to it. I was thinking about using an SSI referrer redirect tag for google and other SE's to direct them to my primary entry page, but I am afraid to do this for fear of getting banned. (And yes, I have tried contacting those with good links to me to change them and am getting very little response.)

Thanks

Use a meta refresh instead. Put "moved" in the title.
