Forum Moderators: open
I have realized that PR is just a number - but to beat a competetor out of their #1 spot we need this PR, as our keyword density, etc. is more optimal.
It might be if your pages are optimised exactly the same way, which is extremely unlikely.
One of our sites, has a page (pr6)which ranks in google at fourth position of 2,400,000 results for a generic search and in first place for its optimised keyword, and it is above many other pages with a better pr.
So I humbly suggest analysing your optimisation.
I'm sure the more experienced people around will be able to give more detail on how this exactly works?
(eek, typos!)
