Will these incoming links count for my site PR

Will Google/etc follow links like this:

Hi everyone,

I asked a similar question on another forum but the issue got confused. So here I am ;)

I need a definitive answer to this question: Will google/etc follow links written like this:

<a target="_blank;" href="http://somesite.com">This is the link</a>

Reason being I think some incoming links to my site just changed to this format and I'm worried that I'll lose them in the next update?

Nick, that semi-colon should not be there after blank;" it should be target="_blank" without the semi-colon. That makes it open in a new window, but there's an error.

Run it through the HTML validator [searchengineworld.com].

Okay, the ; is my mistake.

Will Google follow that link?

I have never seen it like that, but they'll follow

<a class=whatever href=yourpage.html (with punctuation)
