Suddenly dropped by Google

All but main page were removed from index

Since January 2002 All of my pages had been indexed by Google, but this week all pages except the main page were removed. Any ideas as to what the cause of this is? I was getting many hits a day, now it’s only a trickle.

There are a few reasons, typically a temporary server problem at just the wrong time. Broken /robots.txt can be a problem, and very rarely a penalty.

Thanks for the info, Google just crawled my site today for the first time in over a month.
