free server hosting

if i offer free hosting on a server and some gets banned...........

Hi everyone. If I give out free space on a server in exchange for banner placements, if one of the sites that I host gets banned from google for spam or whatever, can my server get banned too? I here you girl's and guy's in here talking about servers getting banned so, I guested this is the best place to ask. Thanks all.

Could your server get banned? It's possible. Google says they ban by domain, but if you had multiple spam sites identified it's possible they could ban the IP. I wouldn't put any important domain on that server - free hosting is certainly going to attract spammers and other bottom-feeders, rather than quality sites.

So far I've not seen anything to make me think that Google bans by IP.

Does anyone here have experiences to the contrary regarding Google?
