Why my web site link popularity is O?

Hi,

I need your advice. I have a web page and it has 150 link popularity
in AllTheWeb.com, but have no link popularity in Google. My web page
is listed in Google directory, DMOZ, etc. but have no link popularity at all.
Can someone help me to underdtand where is the problem?
May be you may recommend a link where I can learn more about it.

Welcome to WebmasterWorld AlexSmirnoff,

First I suggest you download googles toolbar if you are on a windows box running IE. This way you can see your page rank. If your site has less than 4 PR then google will not show link pop.

Yes. I've just checked link popularity using Google toolbar it is 2.
What is wrong with my web page if it has only 2 PR?
What is the best techniques to increase PR?

You need to find good on topic links that google will find. Those 150 links on fast could be ffa's or links google doesn't crawl. Try to find links from pages that have high pr.

Please correct me if I understood it incorrectly.
I should have links with high PR pointing to my we site
Does this mean that PR can be increased only using links?
Or PR depends also from my web page html code, navigation, etc.?
