Strange listing in new Google update

In the new Google update on www2 and www3, my site is listed only by domain. There is NO title or description. This is very odd. When I search by keyword, my site is still ranked, but again no title or description is shown....just the site's domain. I am afraid this will result in a significant reduction in traffic next month.

1) Any ideas what may have caused this? My site has always had a title and description.

2) For those of you who have been "booted" from Google in the past, what alternative methods did you use to get traffic to your site? Paid advertising? PPC? I am getting 80% of my traffic from a combination of Google, AOL and Yahoo and losing that will significantly affect revenue.

Thanks.

It's rather common, actually. Usually for new sites and/or new pages. What happens is Google indexes it. w2 and w3 have the results, but some other datacenter (I think there are 5?) that isn't appearing in the dance yet actually holds the cached version of the page. Once that datacenter makes its way to w2 and/or w3, you'll start seeing words in the page. (Or at least, it's something like that).

Don't worry. It's just a game.

Well...my main page is the one that is listed only by domain (no title/description). other pages in the site ARE listed with title and domain. However, these pages have a lower page rank and do not rank high for key words. I get most traffic from the top page (pr=5) but with no title and description, people may not click through.

It sounds like you are saying that the title and description may appear later. Is that true? or, am I just screwed?
