A blogger linking to The Guardian's Best British Weblog competition with the words "a bloody stupid idea" is trying to make the competition site number one in Google's search rankings for that phrase.

I imagine that, A Bloody Stupid Idea translates from kings english as, how to get your site banned?

uh.....it shouldnt be too hard to get number one for that phrase. Nothing more than a PR stunt....so why are these "bloggers" linking to it?

If any googlers seen that you'd have to wonder whether they are going to get their "human ban" magic wand out ;) (if it exists!)
