As part of the deal, Google will also replace Inktomi as the proprietary search engine on AOL's network of sites, effective in August. This ends a nearly 3-year relationship between AOL and Inktomi in Web search for AOL's U.S. and international properties.

In the case of Inktomi, the company will lose about $2.5 million a quarter in revenue from AOL starting in August, says Sanjay Puri, analyst at Thomas Weisel.

Or when the Googledance ends? :)

Those links are to a couple of very old news articles. Is there something more recent indicating that the switch will occur in August? Seems I heard a while back that it won't be until September.

I belive you heard that from the CEO of Inktomi at a interview he made, someone posted a link to it before and there he mentioned that they would switch for Google in September, so we will have to wait and see.
