We all know that pageranking of our site relies on the PR of the sites linking to us, but I suspect that it's the actual PR of the LINK page on which we find ourselves, rather than than the PR of the homepage for that site that actually matters. Am I correct?

So if I site that had, say, a PR 7 linked to you, but their link page (for some reason) was a PR0, their link would be pretty much useless from a PR transferal point of view. Yes/NO?

Yep, that's my understanding of it.

They could have a 9 on the home page... it ain't doing you any good if their link page is buried somewhere out back with a PR1
