Will having a link at the bottom of every page on your site pointing to the most important pages help increase the Page Rank of these pages?

Thanks. Will it only increase the individual page rank or the overall site in general?

It will help the PR of the individual pages.

But only to the maximum of the the highest current PageRank achieved.

If your main page has the highest PageRank in your site and that happens to be PR3 then no internal page will exceed this, regardless of how your site is linked together.

Increasing inbound links to your site is the only way of getting higher PageRank above your current level.

Do I have to increase inbound links to every page?

No but it helps

Think of the PR as coming into the site via the inbound links and being transferrred around the site via the internal links and going out of the site via outbound links.

Can someone send me a sticky mail of a site with a high page rank that is not a huge site such as Adobe.com so I can see what they have done to help their site?
