It could be their PR is too low to show. Below 4, typically, are not shown.

There seems to be other weirdness, too. One site I manage had all of its links showing two months ago, none showing last month, and then all again this month. Curious how this site's links compared to sites with higher PR in the directory, I attempted to check their links, too. Oddly, about two thirds of the sites with better PR showed no links.

yep....some of these sites have pr4 or more!...if i look for the page by doing a allinurl: check..i find the site is listed but still with a very old cache that doesnt show my link..then i check the page exsists by clicking the google link..and there is my link!.....but 10 showing from 150?...

It's just a matter of waiting. As long as the link stays, you should get the PR benefit.

Is "very old" older than April 25?

It may just be that your page is crawled earlier in the cycle than theirs.

to be honest i dont see a date next to them. For the last two weeks the date for my site has changed daily. This is my first try at getting a site running and ive only been watching google for 2 months or so.The links to me are all after june 1.what does it take to get pr4 from a pr3? my nearest competitor is pr3 as i am too,but he cheated to get above me for keywords.using multi index pages and hidden text and stuff.Ive given up reporting him so i guess to beat him fairly i need to get a pr4.

It was my undersranding that external PR4+ and internal PR3+ are counted as linkage.
