Is it the one that says:

If you like, you can repeat the search with the omitted results included

If so, then that has been around for at least 2 or 3 years. Clicking the link adds &filter=0 to the search URL.

Nope, it's Search Harder - just what this thread's title said.
I saw it some time back on one of my two machines.

We had a debate about whether the original results were therefore a
"Search with a don't care attitude"!

It seems to appear when you do 4-5 word obscure queries at the bottom of the SERPs.

Try something like "i like big green widgets".

It's fun how Webmasterworld.com pages always turn up at the top positions when you put green, blue, red or even purple togeather with widgets in the search box.

However, I don't see it.

Tried it and it's not happening here. But I would have thought, from the meaning of "Search Harder," that it would have been just the opposite... ie, that it would have appeared for very general one or two word searches.

In fact, from the thread title, I was envisioning a slow rollout of Google Suggest, where you got it at the bottom if your search wasn't specific enough.
