I live in Cape Town and noticed yesterday that google is now redirecting to google.co.za. And you can view pages from SA as well as changing to one of our 4 most spoken languages
Happy days

Google South Africa? You'll be able to search the news that England just pulled off an amazing win against South Africa in their latest cricket match.
Bliss.

Good work Google.

yes and you'll be able to search both google s.a. and google.com.jm for full results of the mighty Windies rebounding from their terrible performances over the past couple years to defeat s. africa in the upcoming (april?) series in the West Indies :)

True, but it could default to a South Africa version in the future.

WI v SA should be good.

Google has co.za domain for a very long time. They just did not seem to do anything with it. Do you think they just own all these domains and one by one they make them real country specific search sites? One by one till world domination!

I am very pleased with this new development. So are friends in indonesia and seychelles. It is a great development

Lots of new language versions there, but I must say I'm a bit dissapointed that Pigeon English wasn't an option for the Jamaican site ;-)

A friend of mine owned this domain, but due to costly legal battles with Google, forced him to let it go.
