GoogleBot on Index Every 15 minutes

Good, bad or ugly?

The most oddest thing is happening right now and for the past 6 hours - GoogleBot is all over one of my sites (which is normal), but it keeps hiting the index page every 15 minutes, on the clock, (which is not normal).

So I am thinking:

THE GOOD "OK, some PR9 site just linked to me and this is what life is like on the top" :)

THE BAD "GoogleBot stuck in a rut?" :(

THE UGLY "GoogleBot hiting what looks like a 403 and going to the index to see if I am alive?" ;(

Any Clint Eastwoods out there?

UPDATE Still happening to this moment, me nervious. Every 15 minutes, four days now.
I changed my url to TEST for this post.

Why yes, they just approved me last week :)

Could that be it? But why don't they just hit the RSS XML feed?

Are you using the toolbar? The toolbar has its own referer IP (I think; found that out last week).

I am using the tool bar, but thats not going to send GoogleBot to my index each and every 15 minutes.

its becasue your a news source then - so I wouldn't worry too much!
