For reasons which are too long to explain here, I have a site (www.example.com) with a dozen sub domains that mirror the content on my main domain. The sub domains are utilized by some of my co-brand partners, and I have to keep them.

Some of these sub domains rank well for my KWs, and some don't. Some of our main domain pages rank well, and some don't. I'm curious if the duplicate content on our sub domain pages is hurting us and if there is a good way to determine that. Please Please help if you have experience in this.

I can tell you so much I never use subdomains, special not with content from the original website.

There are others here that use it, so they can maybe help out.

My suggestion lose the subdomains with time if you can.
