High page rank but not cached?

Hello I have numerous sites that have a high page rank on the index page but the subs are showing white in the tool bar. Backwards links are there but nothing in the cache? Anyone else seeing this. Any insight would be helpful thanks

What do you mean? Subpages, sub-domains?

It's common for new sites (and low-PR home pages can mean that sites stay in this state for some time) to have a home page with PR and the rest of the site not to have PR in the toolbar even though the pages are in the index and apparently stable.

I put up a site just before Christmas, and no PR was visible anywhere till the recent backlink update, but the site was doing fine in the SERPS 3 days after upload.

It's also generally accepted that the toolbar's PR has become a bit of red herring, as it's frequently thought to pump out values specifically to cause coronary arrests amongst those who see it as the only important output from Google.
The SERPS are the only important output from Google, because that's what your customers are using!

The cache problem is a product of this past (screwed up) update. At time you will find that the cache: command - typed in - will show no page cached even if the page is listed in Google. If you search Google for the page and click on the link to the cached page in the serps - you will be shown the cached page however.

curious to say the least. I guess I will just wait it it ou and by subs I mean sub pages.
