Hi,

Who said that inbound anchor text is the only thing?!
After the PR update I have a site where the links.html page is PR 3 where the rest of the site is PR 2.

Who can enlighten me on the exact working of this?
Obviously I have no inbound links to the links page, only to the index page.
For those who are interested: there are 4 categories of links on the page, with 4 or 5 links per category to sites with moderately to high PR.
Is there a certain optimal number of outbound links?
should i put more outbound links on my index page as well?

Probably just a toolbar glitch, should rectify after next update or 2.

Obviously I have no inbound links to the links page

What does someone click on to reach it then?

Hi Derek,

I mean 'obviously I have no incoming links from other websites'
I do have links from my own website to this page

The PR of the homepage is distributed evently among all the pages in the website..if the navigation of the website is intermingled all all the pages are reachable from any of the page..This causes the homepage PR to be assigned to all the other pages..
