Google submit is down

Google's submit is not taking any new URL's

I noticed that all day Thursday, Google's submit page is not accepting any new URL's.

Does anyone know when the submit page will be working again?

There were some intermittent failures.

Either they're having technical difficulties, or it might be that they're trying to throttle the procedure to slow down the overzealous submitters.

I too have had a problem submitting both yesterday the 8th and today the 9th. I had been submitting a bunch of sites that list a link back to me and was hoping that they haven't blocked my IP address from submitting more! I'm glad to see that I am not the only one having a problem with the url submit.

I just tried to submit again and it worked fine
I submitted a second url and it didn't work.
I tried a couple of more times in a row and it finally accepted the second url!
Maybe Google is having a problem with their Servers!
