Has anyone used the "Google Answers" tool. It's something new (i think) and they charge to answer the questions. You can ask anything about anything and if you're not satisfied with the answer, you can get a refund.
Has anyone used this? Can I ask them questions about how to improve my PR on my website?

let me know if anyone knows.

an even more interesting question is: can you ask questions and answer them yourself by providing a link to your own site to pass PR from answers.google to it? all answer threads show a PR of 0 but who knows...

Google Answers has been around for quite some time. They no longer accept questions about optimizing for Google, or Google crawls and rankings - See the FAQ. Your question will be deleted, and you will be referred to help@google.com.

They don't seem to have any similar policy on general optimization inquiries (although possibly only if you phrase the question such that you are specifically excluding Google-related information from the requested answer; one way or another, you won't get any Google-specific information in the answer) - just anything that specifically relates to Google and its policies and algorithms.

The editors are pretty mercenary about deleting spamming in comments.
