I recently wrote an article ( on the 15th ) that is SEOed to the best of my ability. Nothing spammy at all.
Within a week I was in the top 10 in the SERPS for most of my keywords and the article had a PR of 3.
I expected good results but this seems a lot better than what I expected. At first I thought it was a boost from being a fresh article but it seems to be staying at the top now.
So I am baffled at how I could have achieved near instant results with google when I expected the article to be sandboxed.
---------------------
Does the sandbox apply to whole sites, sections of sites, or none of the above?
Anyone else had an experience like this?
But I have maintained a PR4 for about a year and a half for the home page and a PR3 for most of the major sections of the site.
I recently got very lucky and a competitor ( who happens to be a SEO professional ) published his log analysis in an effort to sell his site. Once I took a hard look at that and compared it to his site I understood everything that was being said on here.
So this page was my first real effort at SEO, with an education. I guess I did good. lol
Its not a very competitive set of keywords though.
still I am suprised at how fast it worked.
Side note: I am actually getting clicks on the affiliate ads from it and sales. Thats a first for me too and all due to knowledge I learned on here. If I could hug WWW I would. Guess I'll just get a memebership instead.
