I have made three four subdomains (keyword.mydomain) of my website each having 4 pages I have made navigation at the bottom of the all the pages and each page i.e

16+4 pages are accessible from any of the pages in main domain or any of the subdomain

Now what i wanted to know is following

Will this senario help me any ways in PR as google thinks these subdomain as separate websites..

earlier when i was not having subdomains i had 10 pages in my main domain and navigation was such that each page was accessible from anywhere...this helped me greatly in getting PR...even in the first update of PR my all th pages were able to get PR of 4 eveny ...what i feel this corss linking of all pages helps in even distribution of PR...i have just 5-6 back links for mydomain...

Anyway coming back LIVE,

Today i created few subdomains and added more content to my pages so will the same scenario can help me or not.....is my decesion of creating subdomains with keywords wise....i have seen lot of search results totally based upon subdomains...

There should be a reason for creating subdomains, justified by inclusion of content. PR is by the page, so if you continue to create and add content then eventually, depending on what the algo sees pages as being relevant for, you should start coming up in searches for targeted keywords and phrases.

I don't think you will get a PR boost with subdomains (see Marcia's answer), but you may be able to have more than one listing in google if the content is different enough not to duplicated but close enough to rank for the same keywords.

all the different subdomains have different content with relation to main website

each of them represents different sciences..like

physics.example.com
chemistry.example.com

and each of them have far far different contents as you know they are different studies isnt it?
