when I search using firefox's Google search box (not the toolbar) the string showing the first result on the serp page is given twice.

are you using the default search box with Firefox or did you add in a different plug-in for Google?
added- I only ask as when I installed Firefox I took out the default Google plugin and have since installed a different one that doesnt seem to react that way
