Starting a site in 3 months...

Can I do anything now to help it out?

I am starting a large content site and it will go live in about 3 months or so. I placed a link on one of my current pages to get it indexed by google as soon as possible. It is basically a text site right now that explains what the site will be. Should I put up the categories and major subcategories I have so google has those as well?

Is there any other stuff I should do so that the site can be indexed as soon as possible when the launch is ready? Is there anything I should be careful about (the link is on a separate class C)?

Thanks for any advice.

You could go ahead add all the categories, but don't leave the web pages blank and make sure you add words to the pages. But you also have to think about what if surfers visit your web site and see that it has no content, will they ever come back? Some people call this spamming, but hey who asked them? :)

OR

You could just keep the homepage live and wait to all the content is done then go live. Right after you go live buy some high PageRank (PR5, PR6, etc) links and you get indexed in no time.
