Can anyone offer some advice about optimising an ecommerce site for Google. The site has a good page rank of 5 and we are still not appearing in Google for some of the site's more poular terms (we have around 54 back links showing up in Google, however 20 of those are probably internal pages)
I have heard that you are fighting a losing battle trying to get a commercial, ecommerce site on the first page in Google. Is it possible and worth the time and investment - if so where would one start?
