After killing the tech support from my ISP, the servers are working in the parameters, but my trafic is lower and lower.
About 2 hours ago i've discovered that my partener has different results in google for the same keywords and the pages from my site are ranking different.
Also my main competitor is feeling the same thing but i'm not sure ...
So i ask you is google dance time AGAIN?
Sorry for my poor english
My PR in the directory has dropped but also that of ALL of my competitors. Therfore I am guessing there was a downgrade somewhere e.g. in DMOZ or something.
I think your scenario is fairly unique.
We have gone from a PR6 back to a 7 where it should be :-), so there has definitely not been a uniform decrease.
Our site is featured in 2 (very) separate DMOZ categories. We're showing PR 5 in one and an increased PR 6 (based on "Order by pagerank" option) in the other!
The site shows PR 6 on the Google Toolbar at the moment. I can't imagine how it could go down to a PR 5, we've been expecting to go up to a 7 sometime.
I can only presume this is some bug...
One of my sites which has never gained PR in the toolbar (domain purchased around march/april) which should have gained at least 6 long ago - is showing PR in the directory. BUT all of my other sites PR in the directory are about 1 year out of date.
From what I have seen - either they have just updated some sites or just updated some directories. I do not see any evidence of a total directory update.
Can anyone else confirm what I have noticed?
1 more thing I should add is the directory seems to be based on a PR scale of 0-11, which is fine. BUT a site I have had at 7 for more than 1 years has always showed 5 in the directory! The only explaination I have is it has not been updated for a very long time.
