8 Months ago, i was getting 2-3 thousand hits a day from google, but my PR was about 3 and I thought if I had links directed to my site I would get even more traffic. I paid a SEO company 550 a month to get me 500 links to my site from pr8-10 sites. So, around Sept 24th, there was a google dance, I got kicked off basically where now I only have 30 or 40 pages spidered into google. Also recently my PR went from a 4 to a 0. This is really wierd, what can be the cause. We haven't been banned but do you think I've been penalized for something the SEO company did? Also, the little few sites we have in google are ranked in position 100 for the keyword that it is targeting.

Unfortunatley, that is sometime the price for working with a less expensive company. If you do the math, you were paying them $1.00 for each incomming link. Would you be willing to work for that?

As for what specificaly caused the PR fall, it is almost impossible to say without seeing the site. Feel free to sticky it to me and I'll give it a glance.

This is not the first report of a site adding a bunch of new links and tanking as a result. Yet again, IMHO at least, it seems to go back to what G perceives as 'natural' versus 'unnatural.'
