Buying Ranked Domains and Redirecting to Get Around Sandbox

What if we buy ranked domains, say in the top 100 serps with 403 redirects

Just brainstorming... but has anyone though of buying a domain for the keyword that you want to rank in, and making it a 403 pointing to your site, as a way to get out of the Sandbox. Make google think that your site isn't new, but a "moved" site. Would this work? Anyone tried it?

A HTTP Error 403 means permission denied, I think you mean a 301 permanent redirect or a 302 Moved Temporarily

Would this work?
IMO No

Anyone tried it?
NO don't need to

There is no such thing as the google sandbox ;)

Those of us who are spammers buy them all the time and just move to another one after G bans it.

Don't try a redirect to a new domain. In fact if anything redirect the other way.New domain with its new links to the old domain.Or just use the old domain to place your content and better optimise the pages.

Which is why I avoid buying old domains. ;)

This would not work. My sandboxed site was redirected from a subdirectory of a mature domain. The pages ranked while on the domain. They don't now and it's been 6 months.

Same here.
It's been 7 months now. Redirect doesn't work, at least with Google. Yahoo still shows old URL. MSN Beta shows correct new URL. Go figure.
