Host Downtime - Question

What can I expect to happen

This is a question about google's behavious towards downtime. One of my hosts has been down for 2 days now which is why I have to move sites to another host and update the DNS. Now this is the first time that my sites are down for more than 1 day due to huge problems.

Is anyone experiences to what will happen to my google serps?

I have had the same problem a couple of weeks ago, when our load balanced setup became faulty (and ended up going offline for about 3 days)...

Sadly our SERPS positions have been really terrible since, with pages linking to us ranking higher than our actual site. We've had consistent good positions for the last 4 years.

I'm hoping it will recover soon, although it's been about 10 days now, and it's not looking too good...
