ISP Penalty?

Does Google penalize based on who your ISP is?

Just wondering if anyone has a problem with Google penalizing sites due to the server your sites are on.
(Name server)

We deal with a hosting company called Datapipe and manage a series of sites (all clean) and are wondering if anyone has experienced any sort of penalty based on who's hosting their sites.

We have lost almost all our Google positioning for the sites we manage over the last 9mths. Prior to that we did well in Google.

We thought that maybe the IP's were the problem so we changed all the sites to unique IPs but still no improvements.

We rank fine in Yahoo.

Anyone have any ideas? We've tried everything. Content additions, lotsa back links, on site optimization, etc... Starting to lose our minds trying to figure this out.

Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated. :-)

Yes,

It is a known fact that if you do badly in the serps on google, you are normally flying high in Yahoo.

I doubt whether your IP address is to blame, it is just getting harder and harder to obtain and keep a decent rank in google.

Is your site seo'd too much, in other words do you have an overusage of keywords or heading 1 tags?

Are you linking to bad neigbourhoods etc, this can hurt your rankings in google if you are linking to a site that has been penalized.

There are so many factors involved now with high rankings in google, best bet is to get lots of themed links pointing to your site with a pagerank of 3 and above, and keep a low keyword density on the page.

You say you have tried all seo on the site without success, this can now as i mentioned earlier be a burden to your site as google is looking for more natural listings.

Sticky me the url and i will see if i can see anything if you like.

Bek.
