[google.es...]

From what I understand, that's in Galacian and means roughly:

"Google, millionaire company, EXPLOITS VOLUNTARY TRANSLATORS to earn more money"

That is really interesting... how did they pull that off?

Google has a lot of volunteer translators for local versions of Google.

I don't think many at the plex understands Galacian. So that's why the translator was able to get the message in.

I suppose that "feature" is a left-over from the days when their policy must have been something like this: if you want it in your native language that is not core to our operations then you will have to do it yourself.

That's what happens when the finance types get involved.

Open Directory thrives on volunteers who are devoted to the project. Looks like Google can't manage their people.

They volunter then they complain?

I'm still trying to get Google to remove or compensate me for my 10+ year-old Usenet postings.

It looks to me like it says this:

Your search - asdasdasdadqweqwe - did not match any documents.
No pages were found containing "asdasdasdadqweqwe".

Suggestions:
- Make sure all words are spelled correctly.
- Try different keywords.
- Try more general keywords.
Also, you can try Google Answers for expert help with your search.

Wow, they sure got that PR-unfriendly statement off of there quickly once it was posted here... I wonder how long it was like that before anyone noticed.

Look at the copyright date of 2003. That is exactly when weather underground was doing so well for every search related to any city. Wish i could get a link there.

>>I can't believe they actually have it in Klingon:

They used to have it in a language called Bork Bork Bork. But that was back when they were young and cute.
