30% Google,

and the rest brings the rest (about 5%).
Can anyone else throw his stats?

US site been suffering with Google since March/April 04. We were getting around 50,000 unique visitors a month from just Google.
Our US site is also pretty constant since loosing our ratings from Google in April. At least in the US we can get a significant amount of traffic from MSN and Yahoo.
So that a quite relational topic to discuss.
1)% of traffic drawn from Yahoo, Google and Msn can only be judged truly when you have a site which is ranking same on all the search engines. Even a lag of one rank can cost significant traffic.
I don't understand this. Can you please explain it? I get my statistics from my web server logs, through the "HTTP referer" field. Why must my site rank "same on all the search engines" for this information to be "judged truly"?
And the only reason Yahoo and msn get a mention at all is because of paid listings via Overture - despite all efforts cannot do well in either through natural listings - though we think this is in part because we're a travel site and so handicapped due to the "Yahoo lets peddle four year old info Travel channel" thingy - hey call me bitter ;-)
The above on around 10,000 referers for Oct so far.
Yahoo 56.4 %
Google 37.3%
AltaVista 1.8 %
AOL 1.6 %
I used to get 90% of referrals from Google, until they unexplicably dropped all my dynamic pages (with most of my searched-for content) from their index in August. Now Google referrals come through to pages on my site that link to the real content pages, with of course lower positions in the rankings.
Yahoo took a long time to figure out my site, but has been a very consistent player ever since.
MSNbot visits my site frequently, so I figure once they get their product out I will get referrals. But how do you get listed in the current MSN search? I got ONE referral last month through MSN...
