Google is monitoring visitors?

Hello all,

I am looking at my logs and see that when a visitor goes to page 1 googlebot is visiting page 1 too.
Page 2 etc etc.
Anyone see this before and is it normal?

It started happening with the new bot only.

sure, if you have adsense on the site. Gbot media crawler can appear to follow visitors.

That is the first thought I had too. What is the bot's name?

Yes I have adsense on my site, but the bot seems a normal google bot, others I will see google media partners.

This is the name: crawl-66-249-65-170.googlebot.com

AdSense is changing over their bot IPs this month. The new bot IP range is 66.249.64.1 - 66.249.79.254. Before now, the most common AdSense IP range was 64.68.80.1 - 64.68.80.20.

Why would the bot that?
I have 1500+ pagevisits a day, so it means google is visiting my site 1500+ times a day too.....

I do have another Adsense bot visiting my site too.
