Old trashed domains coming up?

Today when i noticed that my 2 Domians which were victim of Penalty have started appearing in Top of SERPs for which they were top before penalty.

Also one other Domain which no longer exist now, had been dropped out of SERP.. now showing in Top for its compititive KWS.

Why this old junked Data coming up? anybody else?

Wow, so a domain that has expired is showing up? How long ago did it expire?

Google is so very weird these past weeks, nothing is surprising anymore.

3 Months back I had to stop using that domain for certain reasons...so I put off the website and filled vague DNS entries.

2 weeks down the line...site disappeared from SERP... but strange it has shown up agaian on top listings where it used to be.
