allintext: Vs intext:

What would cause such a variation?

Google SERPs seem very scattered for my search term, yet when I add the prefix allintext: to the keywords all come in a nice orderly fashion - As I would expect normal SERPs to position my website and its competitors.

Yet when I use the prefix intext: my site drops back to its poor position way back in sandbox territory.

This rule also applies for the allinachor:: and inanchor: prefix.....

Any insight?
