limited query

google has limited the search query to 10 words

Hi,

While making some test search, i realised that the query was limited to 10 words. It gave " "eleven" (and any subsequent words) was ignored because we limit queries to 10 words. "

Though a regular searcher would not even go beyond 4 - 5 words, but from what i recollect, there was never any limitation on the number of words.

I believe that limit of 10 words has been there for some time, although I don't know how long.

Yup, it's been like that for a while. I don't know how long, either. There was a thread about it some time back.
