When Google Does Not Crawl the Home Page

The home page is not crawled, but the rest of the the site is.

My site home page is not crawled by google since 7 sep but it is crawling inner pages daily.
what can be the reason?

Lots of reasons.

The home page isn't changing.
You have external deep links to the internal pages.
The internal pages *are* changing.

Also search this forum for postings on the http setting for "last modified" - you need to be sure this is set optimally.

I don't know the answer, but this happened to one of my domains, and I didn't like it at all. First thing, change your main page every day, and see if you get crawled within the next week.
