Hi,

Please excuse my ignorance with this question, as it is something i should probably know.

I have just read a thread which mentions PR4 sites, PR3 Sites etc etc. What exactly does PR4 etc mean?

I am about to start a big review of how exactly we tackle our search engine techniques and have decided to start from absolute scratch. So you will probably see me in the Search Engine forums a lot in the coming weeks.

As a start though, can someone tell me what PR4 etc means?

Cheers,
Webboy

Go here:

[webmasterworld.com ]

and scroll down to the "PageRank" section.

(Welcome to Webmaster World, by the way!)

Thanks JtBell.

I actually found the answer around 10 minutes after i posted my question ..... typical.

To make maters worse, i actually did no what it was. I just never put 2 and 2 together i.e. PR = Page Rank.

Its been a long week! Sorry for wasting your time.

Cheers,
Webboy

Oops, I saw that "Msg:#1" and forgot that it refers to the position in this particular thread, and overlooked the "Posts: 176" right above it. It's been a long week for me, too, I guess. :-P
