All of them were created within pretty similar parameters.
EXCEPT one:
For one site I did not want to wait for 'organic' traffic to grow and I advertised it using AdWords.
Now, several months later, all sites are performing reasonably well with similar SERPS and reasonable (given their age) traffic.
EXCEPT one.
Guess which one.
Now my theories:
1. Google has turned over to the dark side and wants you to keep advertising, hence it keeps you in the 200+ rankings.
2. G considers their own content network 'spammy' neighbourhoods and the links from there keep you in the 200+ rankings. (in the meantime I have turned off content, since some of the sites I showed up in were in reality pure spam)
3. I inadvertently did something sooooo different from the other three sites, that perform well, that I have overlooked and should change profession ...
what are your thoughts?
