In Google when I type link:http://wwWebmasterWorldebsite.com/ it displays 2 websites that link to my site. But when I type [wwWebmasterWorldebsite.com...] it displays that 20 websites link to me.

Does that mean that links without anchor text are worthless?

No, it means Google's backlink check is highly imcomplete at the moment. I haven't used it to check backlinks in several months now. I use linkdomain:yourdomain.com at Yahoo when I want a real list of backlinks for a site.

That aside, I would call links without anchor text completely worthless - but a link without an anchor isn't going to help anywhere as much as one that does include your anchor.
