PR 0 sites showing backlings

Hi guys i just noticed many PR0 sites this morning are showing backlinks ,another funny G surprise...the sites are ranking well while the bar still is white,does anybody noticed?

It has been like this for two months...

Backlinks have been updated while toolbar PR has not.

Tigger, are you sure you haven't got that backwards?

A backlink traditionally had to be PR4 to show up.

But pages of any rank can show they have backlinks.

No pagerank updates in forever, my hacked googlebar for mozilla/OSX doesnt show pagerank anymore, backlink updates without PR, www2 & www3 are redirecting etc etc etc.

Is google ditching the pagerank?

I thought it used to be 3 then it move to 4 now its all over the shop I found one site linking to one of my sites that must of had 300 links on a zero PR page, crazy

Yeah ... its been going on for a long time! Very annoying! Major spammers in my industry are sitting pretty on Google right now and have been for a few months!

Things such as hidden text, hidden links, dozens of doorway pages are slipping through with hundreds of incoming links and they are showing up well in the SERPS.

I stupidly left a product page (which was discontinued) on my server after removing all links, photos, etc. Its the third time I've done that in as many years! Nobody's fault but my own!

As a result, I have no incoming links to my index page ... but these guys who are using every dirty trick in the book are making out like bandits!

I don't have any idea what Google is doing? I don't get it.

I went from PR4 to PR0 around a month or so ago. My backlinks have increased from 49 to 56. I don't get it either. Some customers who I've SEO'd have also seen PR4 reduce to PR0. The sites are still appearing for their keywords, but have dropped a slot or 2.

Update: as of today my pagerank has gone from 0 to 5 (no changes). Customers sites have also improved so guessing somethings been fixed? Anybody else notice changes?
