Well now things have taken a turn for the worse. My page no longer shows up for certain keywords and phrases that I used to search and find my page under. The keywords are dropping like flies as a matter of fact... For a couple phrases in particular my page doesn't show up at all when it used to literally show up on the first page. For other searches my page has recessed from page 1 to several pages deep in the search 5 or 6 back.
I was very conscious of these searches too.
I monitorred them for a couple months.
Thankfully my pagerank score is still a 5...
but who knows how long it will last if it's even that great to be a 5 and
I only recently discovered page rank so I couldn't tell you how good it was doing for more than a week ago.
This is a sad sad week for me.

It's been up for 8 years now and I found there are more than 2400 links to the site using the www+.domain+.com or whatever method.
The site is updated every single day as a matter of fact and my hits are doing real good for my site... It isn't some huge popular site but I average 1500 unique hits a day 33% of which are brand new visitors.
I mean I admit, I only recently got hip to the stats and googleism thingy majigs because of webmaster world... I am learning the hard way that google is the monster that controls my fate.
The Google News forum [webmasterworld.com] is full of members who are suffering from drops in their ranks which have nothing to do with AdSense.
Okay So I got booted from AdSense. I've come to terms with my self clicking now self hating... self.
there's an impression that there's a wall of seperation between the SERPS and Adsense / Adwords. I think this is generally true.
However - if the situation rises where it really makes sense to adjust things due to -fraudulent- behavior - don't you think they just might?
If nothing else - consider the impact of your own post to this forum as a warning unto others. I suspect Adwords Advisor and Google Guy are smiling...
