I have a website that is bouncing around on the SERPS for google in an odd manor. For example, I will do a search for a particular keyword... Blue Widgets. I will find my page a few down on the list. But... it is only a link. www.bluewidgets-guy.com/blue-widgets.html. Then under the link is a link that says... Similar pages.
Yes, this is odd enough but then, it is switching back and forth. For instance today, I have been watching my access_logs and seen at different points people search on 'Blue Widgets'. I immediately search Goog and find that I am on the SERPS as a full page with description. That simple odd link is gone. It is a normal results link with description. I have been bouncing back and forth over the past couple of days like this with other keywords also for my website.
Can anyone help as to what is going on and I what I should expect? Am I coming out of some penalty or is this just normal.
