I would like some opinions about this issue. We will be receiving a large number of links from a partner and I'm curious about it's effect.
The situation first: We will have a few thousand links, all going to different pages within our site. Why would Google devalue any of those links? They will all be on relevant pages linking to relevant pages, and not the same URL repeated over and over.
Also if your consensus is that they do devalue those links, approximately how much and will they be worth anything at all?
IMO, the SE shouldn't care if there are other links going to other places on my site. PR value may not be much, but anchor text in the links will still be powerful.
