Kw1 and kw2 or just kw1?

Does it matter?

I have a site that I'm trying to get ranked n G for two keywords. For the last few months, I have gauined inbound links with the link text reading "Kw1 and Kw2 from widgets.com"

This technique has been reasonably successful, as I've moved up to P12 in G for kw1 and p22 for kw2. In boh cases, these are money terms with several million results.

However, I just can't seem to get any further up the rankings. So my question is this...if I were to change the link text to either just "kw1" or just "kw2" would this push my rank higher than "kw1 and kw2 from widgets.com"?

Since you have varied anchor text already, I would say yes it would be helpful to switch. You could use a combination of "kw1" "kw2" and "kw1 kw2"

Yahoo also seems to like exact anchor text, without extra words.
